Your own Buy Me a Coffee button

buy-me-a-coffee-cta is a small, dependency-free library that adds a scroll-driven coffee cup to your site. It links to your Buy Me a Coffee profile — but the look, animation, and placement are entirely under your control.

Not the official embed

Buy Me a Coffee provides a paste-in widget. This package is a custom alternative: a cup that draws and fills as visitors scroll, with theming, anchor placement, reverse scroll, and framework snippets — all configurable from the playground.

What visitors experience

  • At the top — a quiet, mostly empty cup
  • While scrolling — outline draws, then coffee fills
  • On hover or tap — tooltip on the same side (desktop: hover; mobile: tap)
  • At the bottom — full cup as a gentle reminder
  • On click — your BMC page opens in a new tab
